Galatians 6:7-8

King James Version

that shall he also reap.

shall of the flesh reap corruption

but he that soweth to the Spirit

shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Galatians 6:9

King James Version

for in due season we shall reap,

if we faint not.

Deuteronomy 8:18

as it is this day.

2 Peter 1:5-8

King James Version

5 And beside this,

giving all diligence,

add to your faith virtue;

and to virtue knowledge;

6 And to knowledge temperance;

and to temperance patience;

and to patience godliness;

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness;

and to brotherly kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you,

and abound,

they make you

that ye shall neither be barren

nor unfruitful

in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:28

King James Version

28 And we know that all things work together

for good to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Let your WORK be a LIGHT in the world

JESUS is the LIGHT of the world.

We can have that light in us, if we follow Him.

John 8:12

King James Version

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them,

saying

I am the light of the world:

he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,

but shall have the light of life.

Once we have that light, Jesus said we must do this:

Matthew 5:14-16

King James Version

14 Ye are the light of the world

A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle,

and put it under a bushel,

but on a candlestick;

and it giveth light

unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men,

that they may see your good works

and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The LIGHT of JESUS, and His light we have in us, results in good works.

These are meant to GLORIFY the FATHER.

Everything we think, say, and do -- all the results of our INSPIRED efforts -- must be for the GLORY of GOD alone.

We can never boast success comes from ourselves.

Without GOD, we won't have life in us.

Genesis 2:7

King James Version

7 And the Lord God formed man

of the dust of the ground

and breathed into his nostrils

the breath of life;

and man became a living soul.

It's good to put things in perspective, and remind ourselves ALL wealth comes from God, too.

Deuteronomy 8:18

King James Version

18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God

for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth

that he may establish his covenant

which he sware unto thy fathers,

as it is this day.

It befuddles me, therefore, when men become haughty.

How could we forget our "origins"?

But the LORD knows what to do with such, for pride is a total abomination to Him, as will be shared in another article, for another blog.

Simply said, without GOD, we are nothing.

Without JESUS, we are nothing.

Without the HOLY SPIRIT, we are nothing.

The TRIUNE GOD caused us into being.

All we are, and have become -- the life we live, the work we do -- must have as its goal the REFLECTION of GOD's LIGHT in us.

ALL GLORY belong to GOD alone.

Let that LIGHT of CHRIST shine clear and bright in you, lighting your way, leading you to good works, and leading others to God, too.

WORK that comes from SUCH a LIGHT can only be deemed NOBLE, for we do it for the GLORY of GOD -- and nothing else.

This will keep us humble, and grateful.

A rare trait in the world these days.

Your WORK must reflect GOD in you

1 John 2:15-17

King James Version

15 Love not the world,

neither the things that are in the world

If any man love the world,

the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world,

the lust of the flesh,

and the lust of the eyes,

and the pride of life,

is not of the Father,

but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away,

and the lust thereof

but he that doeth the will of God

abideth for ever.

Dear brothers and sisters in CHRIST, let us be guided by the WORD of GOD, that we serve JESUS alone.

Let us not conform to the world.

The fact that this blog, and a blog prior to this, were created with the HOLY SPIRIT, in the shortest span of time, with so many articles already written, shows how urgent that message is.

"Be not conformed to this world."

Romans 12:2

King James Version

2 And be not conformed to this world

but be ye transformed

by the renewing of your mind,

that ye may prove what is that good,

and acceptable,

and perfect,

will of God.

Let your work reflect the SPIRIT of GOD in you.

The Spirit is the "teacher of all things", prayed for by JESUS, given as a GIFT by the FATHER, in JESUS' name:

John 14:26

King James Version

26 But the Comforter,

which is the Holy Ghost,

whom the Father will send in my name

he shall teach you all things,

and bring all things to your remembrance,

whatsoever I have said unto you.

By the GRACE of GOD, through FAITH, we will all follow the works of JESUS, and become blameless before the FATHER in the work we do.

What work to do?

A good idea is from the previous post:

"The BEST work we can do now"

Updated 12 April 2023

The BEST work we can do now

Help each other up, and work towards PERFECTION in GOD, exactly as JESUS showed.

That's the BEST work we can do now, in these crazy, crazy times.

Team work, BEYOND team work.

Read the article I just wrote for another blog:

"The MINISTRY of JESUS"

In this Luke 4:18 (King James Version) verse, Jesus clearly showed WHO He helped, as an example of HOW we are to help, for He is the "WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE":

1. to preach the gospel to the poor

2. to heal the brokenhearted

3. to preach deliverance to the captives, and

4. recovering of sight to the blind

5. to set at liberty them that are bruised,

The "poor" can mean "poor in spirit", just so you know.

Oftentimes, those living in poverty, have the Spirit of God more in them, more than those who are living in luxury.

Look at how those who don't have much to eat, offering visitors whatever food they have, even giving them the best "seat" of their homes, bare as their homes may be.

It happens in the country where I live.

In the same manner, "the captives", and "the blind", can mean many things, too.

I know you know what I speak of.

These are all spiritual issues, so we need the "anointing" of the Holy Spirit, in order to understand what JESUS really meant.

We don't all have to be pastors, or ministers, but we can "minister" with LOVE, through whatever work we do, for it is God's commandment:

John 13:34

King James Version

34 A new commandment

I give unto you,

That ye love one another;

as I have loved you

that ye also love one another.

Only by being born again of water, and of the Spirit, can we perform such tasks, for GOD is a SPIRIT, and we can only comprehend His ways, if we are born of the Spirit, too.

John 3:5-6

King James Version

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

There is really much spiritual study we need to embark on.

Read the BIBLE, for one.

JESUS had already shown the way, we are just to understand, and to follow.

Therein lies the future for all of us -- eternal life with JESUS, who sits at the right hand of GOD -- and who has been given power over all heaven, and earth.

Only the LORD JESUS can promise us a future, which this world cannot ever compare with.

It is time to do the best work of our lives now.

Start with what the LORD JESUS taught, find joy in serving and loving others, in the truest sense of the word.

WORK, with NO thought of reward

"What did you say??!!"

I said, WORK, with NO thought of reward.

Wow, that's so "bohemian".

Nah, it's CHRISTIAN, not bohemian.

It's the right way to work, if you are really CHRIST's own.

"But how am I going to make money?" you'd probably pout, and wail.

How about just working for the GLORY of GOD, with no thought of how He'll reward you?

Or how your office, or profession will reward you?

Just SERVE, because it feels right, and good, to do so.

'You're nuts!" you're telling me now.

And I'll say, a resounding "YES!"

For, you see, when you have become CHRIST's own, money loses its addicting importance.

Huh?

Come again?

You heard me.

God has control over EVERYTHING.

Be not surprised that one day, He may just take away everything we have.

He did that to me.

That's why I can speak of it.

I didn't panic.

But I sure had a very difficult time.

For a very long time.

Until I surrendered EVERYTHING to Him a day before my birthday last year.

And that's when the invaluable, real life lessons began.

Sure, my finances will probably be forever in the "red".

But my LOVE for GOD is forever in the "GREEN" -- a GO light.

We all need to be humbled.

We forget God, and God makes sure we don't.

Thing is, when you begin to understand the ways of God, the concept of money didn't seem to matter anymore.

You're not working for money anymore.

You're working to get things right in your heart, with JESUS guiding you -- every step of the way.

GOD designs the work we are meant to do.

I won't tell you about my very long journey getting here, and the dozens of jobs I had, with the objective of finding that one, elusive job.

God knew what it was, but I didn't, so I kept trying.

But I loved words, writing, pictures, researching, and teaching.

And I especially bugged God, night and day, for His TRUTH.

He made sure all those formed a cohesive whole today.

This blog is just one of my many other blogs, the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD and I have worked on, guided by the LORD JESUS.

It has no monetary value, but it has GREAT spiritual value, for the blogs aim to remind us of our spiritual heritage, and destiny, in CHRIST.

And because I am COMPLETELY God's own now, I just TRUST the LORD for EVERYTHING.

The idea is to surrender EVERYTHING to GOD.

Our times are in His hand.

"Yeah, but how am I going to earn?"

"How am I going to make money?"

"How am I going to feed my family?"

Oh, you of little FAITH, as Jesus said.

Matthew 8:26

King James Version

26 And he saith unto them,

Why are ye fearful,

O ye of little faith

Then he arose,

and rebuked the winds and the sea;

and there was a great calm.

When you become a true CHRISTIAN, you SURRENDER your will to God.

And you pray to be guided to the work you are MEANT to do.

Of course, it takes great faith, and courage, to do that.

But if you care about your soul, your family, and your life's work, you will get on that path with CHRIST.

Hear the LORD's reassurance:

Matthew 6:33

King James Version

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God,

and his righteousness;

and all these things shall be added unto you.

Right now, you're probably not even doing the work you're meant to do -- at least by God's books.

Think not God doesn't know what He CREATED you for??

Now, you're crazy.

Can you go out on that limb, not knowing anything -- like a little child -- but ENTRUSTING everything to the LORD?

Do you have that COURAGE?

Getting there, yet?

When you SURRENDER to GOD, you aim to SERVE Him alone.

It's ALL or nothing for God.

Strangely, that's also my philosophy.

He did say:

Matthew 6:24

King James Version

24 No man can serve two masters

for either he will hate the one,  and love the other;

or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

You know who "mammon" is, right?

If you know the prince of the world, you'd know who mammon is.

He's the one who rebelled against God, and made all of us nuts, corrupted, disjointed, sinful, and addicted, with the aim of destroying ALL of God's faithful.

Now, the choice should become easy.

Are you FOR, or against GOD?

I created this blog, through the SPIRIT and GRACE of GOD, guided by JESUS, so I can inform you of my SCRIPTURE "findings", which are vital for our survival.

Now you know my choice.

What about you?

WHO do you SERVE?

Can you imagine a world without money?

Whoa -- panic.

But this I tell you now, there may be NO money when CHRIST returns.

All that stash, all those possessions, all that fame, prestige, beauty, popularity, comforts, and luxuries -- can disappear in an instant.

What would really be painful, is if we are not with the people we care for.

Some may be left behind to face the terrible tribulation.

That's why I'm writing you this now, so we can all be together in CHRIST!

"Yeah, but WHEN is THAT?" you're demanding.

"So many have said that, but WHERE is CHRIST?"

"WHEN is He really returning?"

"In the meantime, HOW am I going to feed myself, or my family?"

"How am I going to PAY the BILLS?"

There may not be a world to pay the bills in.

We may be "taken up", at ANY time.

Read "The Most Intriguing Words of Jesus For Me".

Would money matter then?

"Yeah, but it matters now!" you'd insist.

And I say, READ that article again, and take it to heart.

All the things you worry about now, may not even exist, at a TIME of GOD's CHOOSING.

I also implore you:

Work, with no thought of reward, heavenly, or earthly.

Just work, because GOD is in you.

Be in the service of God.

He will tell you what to do.

"Yeah, but a person's got to eat."

JESUS answered that a long time ago.

Luke 12:23

King James Version

23 The life is more than meat,

and the body is more than raiment.

Don't you see, that our lives here are but a "twinkling" in God's eye?

What a thousand years to us, is merely a day to the LORD.

"Yeah, but I'm the one living those years," you claim.

True, but what if JESUS took up His faithful right this moment?

Matthew 24:41

King James Version

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill

the one shall be taken,

and the other left.

"Yeah, but when would that be?"

Matthew 24:36-39

King James Version

36 But of that day and hour

knoweth no man,

no, not the angels of heaven,

but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were,

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood

they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came,

and took them all away;

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

That's why it's important to get right with the LORD now.

Rapture and repentance.

Here's what we have to do:

Matthew 4:17

King James Version

17 From that time Jesus began to preach,

and to say

Repent:

for the kingdom of heaven

is at hand.

Everything we're doing now, thinkingly, or unthinkingly, can be gone in the twinkling of an eye.

Are we awake, or asleep, in our heart?

Have we received the LORD JESUS yet?

Do we care to be born again in water and in Spirit?

Do we care to do work that is of value to God?

Do we have love in our hearts?

Do we really know the WORD of GOD?

Or are we going to continue being the way we are now, not caring if the LORD returned, or not?

Can we really imagine ourselves preferring to live with the enemy of CHRIST in that hell pit -- forever?

We worry too much about things of the world, when we need to focus on things "above".

Just work for the GLORY of GOD, and let Him do the rest.

But first, get right in your heart with God, for the journey will be very exciting, and illuminating.

How do you do that?

SEEK GOD, with all your heart.

PRAY to JESUS, and be SINCERE.

Confess your sins, and ask for forgiveness.

Desire real change in yourself.

Aim to be corrected by the LORD JESUS.

He has asked God to send the HOLY SPIRIT to teach us.

Get right with GOD now, before it's too late.

"Now you're scaring me."

Nothing to be scared about, if you know God's WORDS and PROMISES in the BIBLE for His faithful.

Dear brothers, and sisters, the aim is PERFECTION.

Matthew 5:48

King James Version

48 Be ye therefore perfect,

even as your Father which is in heaven

is perfect.

The Holy Spirit will teach you how.

SUPPORTING the weak

Who are the weak?

God gives an example in this verse:

Deuteronomy 10:18

King James Version

18 He doth execute the judgment

of the fatherless and widow,

and loveth the stranger

in giving him food and raiment.

In our hearts, we also know the "weak" are those who are enslaved, ill, impoverished, disenfranchised, forgotten, abused, feeble-minded, elderly, disabled.

They can be found in our homes, and outside on the streets.

They can be found in offices, and all over the world.

Let the WORD of GOD guide us about the plight of our suffering brothers and sisters.

May we do all we can to create a better world that puts them foremost, with GOD above all.

Let these verses GUIDE and REMIND us of their presence in our lives:

Acts 20:35

King James Version

35 I have shewed you all things,

how that so labouring

ye ought to support the weak,

and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus,

how he said,

It is more blessed to give

than to receive.

1 Thessalonians 5:14

King James Version

14 Now we exhort you,

brethren

warn them that are unruly,

comfort the feebleminded,

support the weak,

be patient toward all men.

Deuteronomy 24:14

King James Version

14 Thou shalt not oppress

an hired servant

that is poor and needy

whether he be of thy brethren,

or of thy strangers that are in thy land

within thy gates:

Romans 12:13

King James Version

13 Distributing to the necessity

of saints

given to hospitality.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

King James Version

11 And that ye study to be quiet,

and to do your own business,

and to work with your own hands,

as we commanded you;

12 That ye may walk honestly

toward them that are without

and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Leviticus 23:22

King James Version

22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land,

thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners

of thy field when thou reapest,

neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest

thou shalt leave them unto the poor

and to the stranger

I am the Lord your God.

Lastly, the MOST POWERFUL verse from JESUS:

Matthew 25:40

King James Version

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them,

Verily I say unto you

Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one

of the least of these my brethren,

ye have done it unto me.
