The FIRST industries

1 Corinthians 12:4

King James Version

4 Now there are diversities of gifts,

but the same Spirit.

What were the first industries man got into?

Rather, what was he assigned to do?

After the FIRST designer, we now turn to the FIRST industries.

SPIRIT led me to Scripture, that I may know.

And here's what I found:

The FIRST job:

Genesis 2:15

King James Version

15 And the Lord God took the man,

and put him into the garden of Eden

to dress it and to keep it.

The FIRST industries:

Genesis 4:1-2

King James Version

4 And Adam knew Eve his wife;

and she conceived,

and bare Cain, and said,

I have gotten a man from the Lord.

2 And she again bare his brother Abel.

And Abel was a keeper of sheep,

but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

We all know what jealous Cain did to his brother.

GOD then cursed Cain, declaring him a "fugitive and a vagabond".

As a result:

Genesis 4:16

King James Version

16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord,

and dwelt in the land of Nod

on the east of Eden.

Cain started a family, and became the FIRST builder.

Genesis 4:17

King James Version

17 And Cain knew his wife;

and she conceived, and bare Enoch:

and he builded a city,

and called the name of the city,

after the name of his son, Enoch.

The family of Cain grew, through Enoch.

Genesis 4:18-19

King James Version

18 And unto Enoch was born Irad:

and Irad begat Mehujael:

and Mehujael begat Methusael:

and Methusael begat Lamech.

19 And Lamech took unto him two wives:

the name of the one was Adah,

and the name of the other Zillah.

Herein began other industries, and crafts.

Cattle-raising started.

Genesis 4:20

King James Version

20 And Adah bare Jabal:

he was the father of such as dwell in tents,

and of such as have cattle.

Music began.

Genesis 4:21

King James Version

21 And his brother's name was Jubal:

he was the father of all such as handle

the harp and organ.

Metalworks began, too.

Genesis 4:22

King James Version

22 And Zillah,

she also bare Tubalcain,

an instructer of every artificer

in brass and iron

and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

The BIBLE is a rich source of GOD's TRUTH.

And of man's forgotten history.

Stuff we tend to take for granted.

But not so, when you're born again.

Who hungers for GOD's story, truth, and commands.

We ought to let SPIRIT teach us to understand GOD's sacred WORD.

And be forever BLESSED by it.

Be NOT weary doing HONEST work

Galatians 6:9

King James Version

9 And let us not be weary in well doing:

for in due season we shall reap,

if we faint not.

Are you a blue-collar worker?

Or someone enslaved at work?

With no one appreciating your work?

I dedicate this post to you.

For you are not forgotten.

Most of all, not by JESUS.

Remember, He, too, was a blue-collar worker.

Mark 6:3

King James Version

3 Is not this the carpenter,

the son of Mary,

the brother of James,

and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon?

and are not his sisters here with us?

And they were offended at him.

He knows your travails.

That's why He promised:

Matthew 5:5

King James Version

5 Blessed are the meek:

for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 20:16

King James Version

16 So the last shall be first,

and the first last

for many be called,

but few chosen.

Let these verses honor you.

Let these verses give you strength, to keep going.

Let these verses honor the humble work you do.

Your labor is not in vain.

Proverbs 22:4

King James Version

4 By humility

and the fear of the Lord

are riches,

and honour,

and life.

Romans 12:11

King James Version

11 Not slothful in business;

fervent in spirit;

serving the Lord;

1 Corinthians 4:12

King James Version

12 And labour,

working with our own hands:

being reviled, we bless;

being persecuted, we suffer it:

1 Corinthians 15:58

King James Version

58 Therefore,

my beloved brethren,

be ye stedfast,

unmoveable,

always abounding in the work of the Lord,

forasmuch as ye know

that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Galatians 5:22-23

King James Version

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,

longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance:

against such there is no law.

Ephesians 6:7-8

King James Version

7 With good will doing service,

as to the Lord,

and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth,

the same shall he receive of the Lord,

whether he be bond or free.

Philippians 4:13

King James Version

13 I can do all things through Christ

which strengtheneth me.

2 Thessalonians 3:8

King James Version

8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought;

but wrought with labour and travail night and day,

that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

Hebrews 6:10

King James Version

10 For God is not unrighteous

to forget your work and labour of love,

which ye have shewed toward his name,

in that ye have ministered to the saints,

and do minister.

James 1:4

King James Version

4 But let patience have her perfect work,

that ye may be perfect and entire,

wanting nothing.

Philippians 4:8

King James Version

8 Finally, brethren,

whatsoever things are true,

whatsoever things are honest,

whatsoever things are just,

whatsoever things are pure,

whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report;

if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise,

think on these things.
